First weekend away! (and more!)

SCHOOLS OUT FOR THE SUMMER (Think of me singing it in an Alice cooper voice!) WAHOOOO!

This past weekend was my FIRST 3 days away from Jake. We both survived! He got to spend the weekend with Joels parents, and sounded like they had A LOT of fun :) Here is a pic of Jake's firs time in Grandma and Grandpa's jacuzzi:

As you can tell, he loved it! I can't wait to get him in a pool! Maybe this week!! :)

I had a great time with the Hubs, Jace, Sasha, Holly and Jeff in Havasu. The weather was PERFECT, the drinks were cold, and the company was great! I got a nice tan too! Wasn't TOO thrilled about being in a bathing suit, but THANK GOD for tankinis ;) (no one wants to see my freddy krueger stretch marks...yes they are STILL there)
I have yet to take Jake's 6th month pictures (Bad mom alert), but I figure since I waited so long, I'll have to just be late with his 7 month pics! Whoops

So far Jake has LOVED every new food we have tried. So far he has had:

• Apples
• Pears
• Green Beans
• Peas
• Sweet Potato
• Carrots
• Ice cream (just a bite!)

Lets see..what else? I'm trying to start a diet today (story of my life), which I already set myself up for failure because I KNOW I'll cheat on 4th of July. I cannot resist homemade ice cream. (see how little will power I have.) Blah but YUM at the same time!! :)) <--double chin happy face ha!
