School Update!

Well, I am three days into the new semester and I must say its not lookin' that bad! So far, I've only had one AWFUL class that is so extremely boring. Luckily, Courtney and Megan are there suffer with me. I've only had my one night class (printmaking) and it seems really interesting!! I am so thankful I have every class with a friend (Erin, Megan, Courtney). This will make the semester go by even quicker!

Another class I am very excited about is called "Faith & Money"- This class focuses on what the media and Bible say about money. Another interesting thing is that for the whole semester we have to write down EVERYTHING we spend (starbucks, lunch, groceries ect). This activity is supposed to open our eyes as to exactly what we spend our money on. It will be interesting to see my results!

Well, I already have a paper to write for tomorrow. Enjoy your day everyone! :)

Lets Do This!!

Good Morning!!

Laughlin was A LOT of fun! I was not a big winner this trip, but ya win some ya lose some, right? It is so fun to have 5 people that you know sitting at the blackjack table with you!! The races were pretty cool, but very cold! I got a cute sweatshirt out of the deal!! :-)

Many of my friends are starting student teaching today! CRAZY!! That is so werid to me! It feels like I'm not old enough to be a teacher....to control 30 little minds! Eek!! Luckily, Biola has prepared us very well, so I'm not that worried!!

Anyway, I have school tonight until 10 :/ Its a good thing Joel has lots of sidejobs at night to keep him busy while im at school! I'm meeting Megan at 2:30 to get books, chapel make up's, id stickers and our car permits! Meg and I have the exact same schedule, so I will have all but 1 class with her! :) I'm excited!

Hopefully this semester will fly by...because its my LAST SEMESTER!!!!!!!

Laughlin!!

We are going to Laughlin tomorrow for the SCORE off-road races. We went last year (picture) and it was pretty fun (although I must admit, I would have much rather been inside playing blackjack hehe) We are going with Joel's brother and sister-in-law and a whole bunch of other people will be there! It should be a good time!

Here is a picture from our last Laughlin trip with Val and Todd. It was a Saturday night and I started with $40 and an hour later came out with $150! What can I say...I just get lucky sometimes! I can't wait, it will be nice little vacay before school starts.

Speaking of school, I start Monday! I'm excited because work is getting boring, but I'm not so excited for 3 night classes. :( I am staying positive and remember that this is my LAST SEMESTER of classes at Biola!
