I am a mother of a six month old child. Half birthday. Six months. He's HALF way to being 1! Where has the freaking time gone?!!

I haven't taken his six month pictures yet...but when I do, you know you will see them ;)

We went to the doctor for his 6 month check up...and hes moving right along! He is now 15.8lbs and 26.5inch long! We go the go ahead to start food, which I was really excited about. Jake hasn't been too thrilled with rice cereal, or oatmeal, so I was a little worried on how he was going to like the good stuff.

I decided to start with veggies, hearing that if you start with sweet fruits, they won't like veggies (even though my pediatrician said that's not true). I picked carrots. He.Loved.Them! WOO! I'll stick with those for a few days, then maybe do a fruit.

Ohh..and Jake is 2 teeth..and the doc said his upper gum is swollen...so more to come! aye yi yi. My baby is growing up so fast!

p.s. His baptism was so great...he did great with the water and was content and too cute for all the congregation to see! I'll post pics when I get some :)
