Monday, Monday...

Why must the weekend go by so fast?? It's Monday and it is to that point in the semester where I am getting super stressed. :(

I start observing today in my 1st grade class at Evergreen Elementary school in Whittier. I'm looking foward to it, but not so much doing the 60 hours! I have TONS of big projects to get done and observation is just another thing to do.

This weekend was really fun though. Joel and I had a date night on friday. We went to dinner, had coldstone and saw Juno (which was reallly cute!). Saturday we saw Dan Noteboom's band play and they were REALLY good. The lead singer, Sara Lindsay, was realllly reallly good! Here is thier website

I hope this week goes by fast becase we are going to Palm Springs on friday!!! woo hoo!

Updates!

Hello hello!!!

I thought I would update everyone with some pictures from the bachelorette party this past weekend!! We stayed in this barn-type house..and below is the view! It was sooo gorgeous!

This week has flown by! School is starting to get stressful :-/ Oh well, its FRIDAY!!! My youngest nephew, Travis, is having surgery to put tubes in his ears as we speak!! *Prayers*

Tonight is date night and tomorrow we are going to see Val and Todd, then going to a Jazz concert thingy with Kolbey to see Dan play! (Dan is Kolbey's boyfriend...Yeah, I matched them up! w00t!)

Life, Tea, and Bachelorette Parties!

Well this week flew by! My wednesday night Printmaking class got cancelled, and I got out early last night (Valentines). Joel and I had already went on to Olive Garden on Tuesday to celebrate. For Valentines, Joel & Matt rented a condo and got us all a weekend get away to Palm Springs. This gift is perfect since Chelsey and I were just talking about how we wanted to go on a married trip! :)

So this weekend we are going to Santa Ynez/Santa Barbara for Jenna's Bachelorette party and will be staying at the Saarloos's place (Saarloos & Son Winery?). It will be a great time! I'll update pictures next time!!!!

Oh the joys of life!

Happy Monday!!!!!!!!

I feel like I have been SUPER busy lately...not a bad busy...just busy. This weekend I went to my FIRST real tea party. Kolbey hosted it at her house. There were about 10-15 girls that came and we drank tea (the peach was my favorite), ate scones, soup, sandwiches and candy!! It really was a great time of fellowship with friends before graduation! (pictures to come)

School was going GREAT until thursday when we had a speaker come in and talk about student teaching interviews, and student teaching. it FREAKS ME OUT. The homework load has not been bad...yet. I think next week is when it gets crazy. I always do this to myself, I get stressed, overwhelmed, act like a crazy person...then the end of the semester comes and i get everything done and everything turns out fine! Me and megan decided that on our big break on thursday, we will go walking for 45 mins around Biola, instead of sitting around doing nothing. I suggested we walk to golden spoon-but I guess that would defeat the purpose. Its a pretty good workout!!

Joel & I are celebrating Valentines day tomorrow night (tuesday) because I have a night class on Thursday night and we will both be busy this weekend! Speaking of this weekend... Joel will be in Glamis and I will be at Jenna's bachelorette party! w00t!

What a way to start off the week...

Well, I got my results from the Cset...I only passed 1 section :( Although I should be jumping for joy that I atleast passed 1 section, I am not. I'm upset. Very upset. Standardized tests are ridiculous. I think the makers of this test state the questions in such a way that confuses the test taker. Urgh!

Oh well, I can't worry about it now. I will take it (AND PASS THE TWO DANG SECTIONS) on March 15.

On a happier note, HAPPY BIRTHDAY CHELSEY!!!

I had a great weekend. On friday we celebrated my mom & dad's birthday. Then, saturday I worked, got some cute new flags for the house with Chelsey, then went out to dinner for Chelsey's birthday! We went to Gladstones @ the pike! Yesterday Matt & Chelsey came over for the superbowl. We made way to much food and just hung out. YAY GIANTS. hehe It was a goodtime!

I am dreading this week and all the night classes...I have REALLY BAD senoritis. Is it May 24th yet? (graduation day)

Well thats all, I'm upset and have to leave...which, by the way, ill be at school until 10. gahh.

***ok so I just realized..in my last post..I was telling everyone to "Walk by faith" blah blah blah and here I am freaking out. I've decided to give it to God. He knows the plans for my life. :) Ok I feel better now!

It is a sad day in the Bomgaars family :( Those close to me know what I'm talk about.

When a sad event occurs, its very easy to ask God a million questions as to why this could happen. Although it is hard and is easier said then done, we need to put our trust in God and trust that he is in control of every little thing that happens. God is faithful and only he knows why things like this happen.

Please just pray for our family, and hopefully, in the months to come, I will get to share some great news with you all.
