Vent

So..it came to my attention today that pretty much NONE of my pants fit. I literally think I tried on every pair in my closet. It was really depressing.

Now, you may be thinking "Come on, Jenalee, you're pregnant, its OK!" Well, yes thank you, I know I'm pregnant but I thought my old clothes would hold up a little longer then then have. I've been rocking the "Rubber Band" trick for a few weeks and not, its not even comfortable anymore. Don't get me wrong, I am sooooo thrilled that I'm having this problem..just peeved...keep reading.

So, after coming to the realization that I'm going to have to budge and get some more bottoms I start browsing maternity stores online. Um. Holy cow. These prices are RIDIC! (short for ridiculous if you don't speak Jenalee-ha). I'm going to have to get a whole new wardrobe for 5 more months. Now, its not like I can just go into the store and pick out the jeans I want...of course not, that would be WAY to easy. No, I have to get petite jeans. AND to make matters worse, most places only have petite online. blah blah blah.

Ok vent done :)

I know... It is lame. Have you gone to South Coast Plaza... They have a better Motherhood store and a Gap Maternity too.

Here is one more piece of advice (take it or leave it). Just buy 1 pair of nice jeans and 1 pair of dress pants, and one nice dress. If you make the pieces basic and classic enough you can switch up the looks with varying accessories.

That's what helped me over here!

Good luck! And Happy Shopping!

K...so...what you do is call your bff up...me...who has nothing to do, just like you, and say "lets go maternity shopping!" And like amber said, buy a couple good pieces, take them to the tailor if you HAVE to (nordies does it for free if you buy it there) and suck it up b/c baby j is soooo worth it :) There, problem solved!

love ya' ;)
