5 down...5 to go!

Not this week baby!!!!

Hoooray!!! I lost 2lbs this week! I'm so happy bc I was going to be PISSED if I didn't lose anything. I worked HARD this week, stayed on points, and worked out!

I'm now below the weight I was when I got married! That, to me, is success! A grand total of 33 lbs!!!!

Now...5 more pounds. 5 weeks to go. I GOT THIS!!! :)

Stagecoach beware!!!! hahah

Jake Updates:

This kiddo is a tough guy! He had such a ward week with his split lip, bump on his head, and blackish eye. People say boys will be boys, but that doesn't mean its ANY easier on momma!

Hes back in his screaming-at-the-top-of-his-lungs while eating stage. BLAH.  NOTHING works to stop it either.  Thankfully he doesn't do it much in restaurants (I told Joel maybe we should just eat out every meal lol)

He still is the pickiest eater...only eating fruits, hot dogs and beans. He used to eat chicken nuggets, but not lately. Its crazy how when he was smaller, he would eat ANYTHING...now hes changed. I'm up for taking suggestions as to finger foods we can try.  He doesn't like cheese, mac and cheese, grilled cheese, mash potatoes, fish sticks...the list could go on! Blah. What am I to do!

Oh well...all I know is I LOVE LOVE LOVE this age...and he is so cute and teaching me so much!!

can you tell I love me some diptic?? ;)

After work today, Joel is stealing me away to Palm Springs! Why? Just because. He planned it all for a surprise!   He told me he wanted to take me shopping at the outlets, have a nice dinner, then hit up Morongo for some gambling!!! Whoo! So excited for a little get-a-way!

Have a great weekend everyone!!!!!

Hey JenaLee, I know you dont know me but I stalk your blog every now and then.

I don't know if you have tried Trader Joe's crushers or the applesauce or fruit/veggie pouches from Target? But my son loved those! I got tired of paying 50cents or more for them! I found the Sili Squeeze and has quickly become my BEST FRIEND! http://thesilico.com/
I make purees (even tho my little guy is 21 mo!) of veggies, fruits, or smoothies, applesauce, yogurt, etc... The best thing is, he loves fruit & veggies, but this way he can eat it on the go or for a quick breakfast with no mess! Plus it is hard to see the color so for kids who are wary of green, it helps! I make him a green smooth (spinach, kale, etc) almost every day! You could even add protein powder if you were worried about him getting nutrients!

Good Luck!!
