School, Jake and .4

Okay, I'm a sucky blogger now. Or maybe I always was...but I am for sure now! :(

Life has been SO busy....but a good busy!

My plan was to update my blog every Saturday at work, but I have been suck with piles of grading instead.

I love my job. I'm sad its only lasting until Marchish...because I finally know the kids, got them under control *kinda*, and am kinda starting to like them! Don't roll your eyes! Yes, I complain every day about em...but they are KINDA growing on me.

1 out of 5 of my problem kids moved. WAHOO. One problem solved. When we are not biting, socking, or yelling at people..my class actually functions! Little victories.

My next task to accomplish is progress reports (I'm almost done!), and then....the dreaded
parent

teacher

conferences.

wahhhhhh.

Theses things scare me. Especially when I have to tell them their kid does not know how to read, write a sentence, or write his numbers :( Thankfully I only have 1 of those, but still. I'm scared.

Now on to JAKE! :) My boy is getting so big!!! He now claps when I sing patty cake. He can high five, wave bye bye, give kisses on command, and army crawl. He still doesn't crawl completely...but that's ok!He will do it on his time! On the other hand, hes good at taking steps and holding himself up!

I started working on things for his party! I can't believe he is going to be 1 in less than 2 months!!!

I haven't taken his 10 month picture yet, yes I'm a slacker, but today I'm going to take his cowboy picture for his birthday invitation! He is gonna be thee CUTEST cowboy around! I can't wait to show you guys! :)

Now on to .4. I am .4lbs away from reaching 25lbs!!!! I really was hoping I was going to get it today..but last night I was tempted by the devil (aka Jeff) and him and Joel brought back 2 peanut butter and chocolate brownie sundaes! I indulged and had 5 bites, then stopped. Hey, I still lost 1.8 this morning..so not TOO shabby!!! So...24.6 pounds gone.

I would be happy if I lost 2 more...but REALLY i would like to lose 7-10 more. We will see.

We are excited to go Gavin Evan's first birthday party today, then out to the 909 for some Val, Todd and Brooke time!!! Tomorrow, 30 of the Bomgaars gang are taking a train out to San Juan Cap for Grandma Greta's birthday!! That will be SO FUN! What a fun weekend ahead!!!!
