December is coming!!!!

I put my itunes on shuffle...low and behold Nsync's Christmas music came on! (Don't hate, you know you secretly like their cd too!)

My feelings: AHH and YAY all at the same time! (Would that be YAHHH??)

I have ALWAYS loved Christmas time...the lights...music..presents..family time- plus my birthday is in December!!!! I cannot wait till Black friday, getting out all my Christmas decor, getting a Christmas tree and drinking a peppermint hot chocolate!!!!! Little did I know that Christmas 200
9 was the last Christmas as a family of 2! Crazy. I.cannot.wait. :)



I dragged Joel to the movies to see "Life as we know it" and it was soo worth it! Joel actually enjoyed himself too! I think I liked it because it involved a baby, a cute story line, a love story, and MAJOR eye candy! Definitely worth seeing!

I skipped week 30 because I was soo busy..but I'm back. I'm sure you all were wondering-ha! (like anyone reads this anyway, right?)

How far along? 31w0d

Total weight gain/loss: under my goal so far!

How big is baby? Size: 16 inches Weight: 3.3lbs!

Maternity clothes? Proudly wearing some non-maternity shirts.

Sleep: I'm sleeping pretty good! I have a few days where its all toss and turning.

Best moment this week: My week just started...not sure what will be the best!

Movement: This morning in he was rolling non-stop.The lights were off, but I'm sure if they were on and we looked it would look so weird. I love it!

Food cravings: none. pretty boring.
Gender: BLUE!!

Labor Signs: Nope!
Belly Button in or out? Its still in...I think thats where it will stay!

Stretchmarks? what about those little devils? They are still there..

How are you feeling? Pregnancy wise...great...I have a HORRIBLE cold though :( My nose is raw.

What I am looking forward to: Getting Jakes furniture..hopefully this week!

What I miss: Being able to do simple tasks without someone saying "You shouldn't be doing that, you're pregnant!" I liked it at first..now its like come on!

HOLY OCTOBER!!!!!!

Can ya'll believe its already OCTOBER!?? This is bonkers! Don't get me wrong, I am SUPER excited that these months are flying but, but I'm getting anxious as the days go passing by!

According to my countdown..I only have 73 more days to go...and with Halloween, Joel's Birthday, Thanksgiving...its going to be here before I know it! YAY and AH!

I am SUPER excited for my first baby shower tomorrow that my 2 bff's are throwing! Its going to be so cute and make everything seem more "real" when I'm getting baby stuff! I will post pics when I get em!

I don't have much to say this time. I've been subbing a lot, which is a blessing. Also, I think I'm going to take a 3 week long sub job (3:00-5:30) at our after school program at Church. PRAISE THE LORD FOR WORK! :)

Sleep: I've been sleeping great! Annnd something cool, just about every monring when the alarm goes off for Joel, Jake will move for him! Its like he knows our schedule! :)

Best moment this week: Getting Jake's room ALL painted! (not me of course, Joel did it, but it looks FABULOUS!!!!
Movement: Last night he was on a roll...literally. Joel and I watched him rolling. It looked so alienish!

Food cravings: Nada...kinda disappointing.

Stretchmarks? GAH! Yes, they are still there. I rub my cream over them every day..but I don't think its really gonna help. Oh well..Jake will be worth it! :)

What I am looking forward to: I would have to say my baby shower tomorrow! I get to see all my girlfriends! YAY!

What I miss: I still gotta go with Diet cokes...having 1-2 per day is hardly cutting it.

Well people, I've made it to the 3rd trimester! It felt like I would NEVER get here...now its crazy that I am!

I started 2 Bible studies this week and both are going to be great. I'm excited to see what God is going to teach me in these next few weeks! In the first one, we are finishing Max Lucado's
Facing your giants" book. In the mid-week study, we are going to be studying different women of the Bible! Should be good!!!

Adventures in Middle School:I've been subbing middle school a lot these past weeks..and at first I would hear whispers like "Is she pregnant...I dunno, ask!....no thats rude!" So, before each period I would just announce "FYI I am pregnant, not just fat" The kids would laugh and ask me all types of questions. I have made the mistake of asking a women if she was pregnant and she wasn't, so at least these kids just whisper. :)
Ohh and another middle school story: 6/7 English literature- The directions were to copy the vocab words from a specific story, find the definition and use them in a sentence. One of the words was "Console." (the pronunciation was write next to the word, by the way.) I kid you not, atleast 5 kids came up and asked how they were supposed to use the Nintendo wii console in a sentence! bhahahha Good times.

With all this middle school subbing...I'm wondering if God is telling me something? I HOPE not..but I think I should keep praying about it! BRING IT ON!

Total weight gain/loss: I gained 4lbs in 2 weeks. I guess having dessert 4x at night in a row is no bueno. Gotta stop that STAT!

How big is baby? Size: About 15+ inches Weight: Over 2lbs The size of a chinese cabbage! haha


Maternity clothes? Are amazing. enough said!

Sleep: Some days are good..some are bad. Darn back pain! Oh and the other night Jake was kicking at me all through the night...little bugger!

Best moment this week: Finally picking out our baby furniture, we have been so indecisive. We finally found what we want!!! This is what we decided on. We are getting the changer/hutch and the crib. We won't need a chest of drawers because my handy, dandy hubby made Jake a closet organizer! woo!

Movement: I have felt and seen him ROLL! Crazy! I also think he had the hiccups..but not sure exactly!!

Food cravings: Dessert...hence the +4 pounds I gained. Needless to say I went to the grocery store and loaded up on the fruit!

Gender: Team BLUE!

Stretchmarks? Sad, sad day my friends...I've found some MORE!!!!!!!!! Just on my stomach. I'm kinda glad I can't see them when I look down, I would just get more depressed. OH well, Jake will be worth it!!

How are you feeling? Right now?? Or in general?? I just cleaned the whole house..so I'm feeling achy now..but in general I'm feeling great!!

What I am looking forward to: Joel finishing the painting (he is paining as I type and is almost done!) Hooray!

What I miss: my hudson jeans.

Motherhood

Sleep: This week has been pretty good!!! Now that I'm subbing, I throw in an extra nap here and there!

Best moment this week: Seeing my little handsome on an ultrasound. His face is OH SO CUTE! :) Oh also, getting 2 sub jobs! woo!

Movement: I was JUST telling Joel how Jake is moving NON stop lately!! I love it!

Food cravings: I had a DISTINCT craving for peanut butter and chocolate ice cream from baskin robins. It was DELISH!

Gender: boy boy boy!

Labor Signs: Nada!

Stretchmarks? Those few little suckers are still there. :( The good thing is I have not spotted any more! hooray!

How are you feeling? Feeling good!!!!! (minus the back ache!)

What I am looking forward to: Getting color painted on the walls in the nursery! One thing I am NOT looking forward to is the diabetes test on tuesday! AH

What I miss: I'd have to say its still bending over with ease. Its getting waaay more difficult to bend.

Weekly Wisdom: Go with your gut

Milestones: Having my fluids checked via ultrasound and having the levels drop to normal! WOO Praise the Lord (background: last ultrasound the levels were in the "upper normal" range)

Another week has gone by...

and I'm here to tell about it! Praise God for life!

Yesterday I subbed for Chelsey's 1st grade class. I'm not sure if it was being pregnant, the fact that it was my first day working since June, her class was crazy, or a combo of all three...but i was EXHAUSTED by 8:30 at night!

The kids asked if I was having a baby, and I said yes. Then, wouldn't you guess it, almost EVERY hand raised and told me how their mom, aunt, sister, cousin had or is having a baby. First graders, gotta love them. :-)

I threw myself a little pity party this week because of all the teachers going back to school and getting into a routine..and here I am..stalking subfinder hoping to get work! However, I am reminded that this is what God has planned for me right now..and when my little handsome man comes, I will be grateful to pick and choose the days I want to work!

In music news...I bought the new Sara Bareilles Cd..and I am in LOVE.I knew I would be..but hearing her new music is very inspiring! I cannot wait to go to her concert in a few weeks with Chels and Erin!! Woo for girls night!

Now on to the good stuff:
FYI: Bump shot this week is kinda weak.I don't have a low enough mirror to take a sufficient picture..but it will do. Plus, I'm not smiling again. FAIL. Oh well, ya get the picture!

How far along? 26weeks 5 days

Total weight gain/loss: Still in the normal range, but its starting to creep up!!

How big is baby? Size: 14 inches Weight: 2lbs

Maternity clothes? I'm still trying to wear non-maternity shirts, but its getting harder each week!!! I'm loving maternity pants though, I think regular designers should look into stretchy, cute, waistband jeans! lol

Sleep: Well my knocking on wood last week must have no worked because I've been sleeping like crap. My back has been giving me problems. Its not unbearable yet..but we shall see!

Best moment this week: Getting the invite to my shower...handmade by Chelsey and Val- the two greatest friends a girl could ask for!!

Movement: Love feeling him move and kick! He has been kicking Joel A LOT this past week! SO fun!

Food cravings: I am waiting for these darn cravings to really kick in. I want that experience of "I NEED ________ right now!! I guess I craved Spaghetti, but since it is my favorite food, I always want some!

Gender: Team BLUE!

Labor Signs: nope!

Belly Button in or out? Still in..and I can't see it anymore by looking down..so I have to rely on the mirror. ek!

Stretchmarks? This, my friends, is now a sore subject. I have spotting a few of these little suckers on the lower part of my belly. I was looking in the mirror and had to do a double take! I texted Joel in shock about it..and all he said was "Yeah I saw them the other night!" AH. Thanks a lot babe. A simple "Oh ya can't even notice them" or something would have helped. Oh well. I went out and got some stretch mark lotion. Like my mom said, "Welcome to Motherhood!"

How are you feeling? Besides the occasional back ache, I'm still feeling good! :)

What I am looking forward to: Ultrasound next week!

What I miss: Bending over with ease.

Updates and Pictures!!

Its been a while, but I'm back! I made it to and from Missouri with no problems. It was so fun to sing at her wedding. The happy couple is now lounging in Hawaii! LUCKY!

We got our bedding in and it is everything I wanted! It is super cute and got me excited about decorating his room. Speaking of his room, Joel and Jason finished the crown and baseboard, now we just need the chair rail up, then we can paint! We decided to do a dark brown on the bottom, and a tan on top. Here is the bedding on our couch:I want to order this too, for above his crib, but with his name instead of buckaroo!Now on to the survey!

And now..a great face shot from yesterday's ultrasound. He was kicking the whole time, which gave the tech a run for her money. Also, it looked like Jake was chewing on something..who knows!!!! The tech said she has chubby cheeks! YAY
