I cannot believe it is already mid AUGUST!
Paramount Unified (where I'm a substitute) starts this coming week already!! Gesh! Summer felt SO MUCH longer as a kid!
My Pinterest board is filling up with TONS of pins about beginning of the year and teaching ideas, which of course, I'm repinning because WHEN I do get a job, I'm pretty sure I'm going to have the cutest classroom and ideas EVER! Thankyouverymuch. =)
I already told the hubs that I want him to start taking down the fall dcorations...bring on the brown/orange colors and the pumpkin candles- Fall is a comin'!
So lets get on with it!
The Diet:
HA. Lets talk about this another morning.
I'm hoping that once I start subbing again I'll be able to get back on it.
As far as running goes...I've been TRYING to go, but have sadly only gone 1x this week, and I almost DIED of heat exhuastion. Okay, not almost died..but it was realllllly hot.
Excuses, excuses. I know.
Jake:
This kid serioulsy cracks me up. He is learning something new everyday and I absolutely love it! He is such a talker and an entertainer!
Here is a video of showing us how he can 'wink" now!
Besides winking, he now can give "smooches," which is just a normal kiss, complete with the kissing sound, instead of the doggie-lick-kiss. It is absolutely adorable and I'll have to try and get a video of that, too!
The Journey:
I've been learning so much about God and his faithfulness with my father-in-law being sick. He is on his way to recovering now! (Praise the LORD!) I have such great family and friends who have all rallied and prayed for this sitatuion. Bless beyond belife is all I can say, and we can see that all the prayers and reliance on God has helped!
If you read my post a few weeks ago about worry and trust, youll know that is something I"m tryng to work on, and its soooo hard, people!!! Its so easy to say it, but to acutally DO....it is way different. I find that if I talk about it, or type in this case, I am reminded, "Oh yeah, I did say that..I need to remember to DO it.

I have to say, I own all of Taylors albums and I think she is very talented with her songwriting and I
But, her new single. I'm just not sure of it. It always takes me a few listens to like a song, but this new one is taking me longer to absorb. I mean, I do like the "ohhhhhh" part.
Its definitely NOT country and its werid hearing it on a country station, right???

I'm off to a baby shower for my cousin, Arianna! I'm LOVING all these baby shower for baby girls!!! Pink pink pink!!!
