3 Month Check In!

I must admit, this blog has definitely taken a backseat lately...but that is NOT how I want it to become. So, here is a check in from Jake and I!

First on Jake:

• He LOVES watching TV. I think hes addicted to reality tv just like me, but I think its more the colors and shapes he sees. I don't just stick him in front of the TV on purpose and hopes he watches...hes just drawn to it. Here is Jake and Joel both watching Amazing Race! :)
• He likes to roll over when doing tummy time. So darn cute.
• He coos like no other. I coo too haha. Its kinda funny, its like we are having a conversation in coo language.
• He has the CUTEST smile. Ever. :) Oh and he smiles EVERY TIME he sees his daddy (just like his mama).
• He is 15 weeks tomorrow and is still wearing 3 month clothes. Some of his 3mo jammies are getting a little small length wise, so we may have to jump up to 3-6, but then some of his 3mo stuff is still too big!
• He loves taking baths! (although ya wouldn't know it from the picture below lol) Its part of our nightly routine and I really think he looks forward to it. I tried making a little Mohawk but its not really noticeable in this picture.
• Jake looks like such a big boy in his 3 month pictures (yes, even though he is 3.5 months...my bad.)
• 
• My brag list is going to stop now, because I literally could go on and on..

Now on to me. Nothing is really new. I start back to work this week (BOO HISS.) I'm not gonna start this "woe is me" stuff because I am thankful I have had 15 weeks off. Its just that it IS a really emotional thing for me. I know once I'm back subbing for these little brats (okay, not all all brats...just the jr highers haha), I'll realize that Jake is more perfect then I thought. LOL.

Not to be all emo but I'm also kinda in a funk right now...just finding out who I am, what I want to do but more importantly what God wants me to do...just in my everyday walk. I just want to be the best I can be for my boys and for God. Its hard. This Beth Moore bible study I'm doing is really teaching me a lot, so I'm anxious to keep on going and looking forward to what the next 8 weeks have to offer!

Hmm what else??? Ooohh, I'm singing in a wedding this weekend. I'm pretty pumped about it. I love weddings and I love singing..so its a great combo!

I suppose that's it for now!!!
