It's a...

BOY!!!

I totally knew it..well not really, but I had really strong feelings that it was a boy!! I am so excited to call my belly Jake Ryan instead of "it" or "the baby."

I already made my first purchase:

I'm not gonna lie, on the way home I told Joel how was I was already thinking of when Jake gets older and brings home a girl..and if I'll like her and how weird that sounds. I know it's a little premature..but oh well! :)

To make matters worse, when I was googling "Boy" for my picture of the baby (above) I found this:
Lord have mercy on my soul. FYI Jake..if you EVER come home lookin like that..your dad and uncles will kick your butt. I'm totally not joking either. :)

On a lighter note..its so fun looking at baby boy stuff, finding nursery stuff, and cute little things for him to wear. My mother-in-law and aunt have already bought clothes for the little guy. This is so fun! :)

Anyway..time for a survey!

How far along?: 18 weeks
How big is baby?: 5.6 inches long and 7oz...the size of a sweet potato! (Ick, I hate sweet potatoes, but boy do I love this little man hehe)
Weight gain?: 10lbs...and I have decided I DREAD doing this question..so I don't think I'm going to answer it anymore lol
Stretch Marks?: Not yet!
Maternity Clothes?: Are my Saviour! Seriously. I'm still rocking normal shirts..and I can squeeze into 2 of my "fat jeans" but the rest are maternity bottoms. So comfy!
Sleep?: Umm..my back has really been killing me lately..so sleep has been limited..but last night I didn't wake up once..fewh!
Best moment this week?: Seeing our little one on an ultrasound...and finding out its a BOY!!!
Food Cravings?: Nothing new this week!
Gender?: A sweet baby boy!!!
Movement?: Nothing yet..I don't think. I don't know what its supposed to feel like!!
Belly Button?: looks normal
What I miss?: The past few days I've been wanting a margarita.
Labor Signs?: Negative.
What I'm looking forward to?: Having the anatomy scan done with and it all going well!
Milestone?:Finding out the sex!! Can't wait for our bouncing baby boy!
