Jace has popped the big question and Sasha said YES! Now, for those of you who don't know their story let me ya the mini low down. Jace and Sash have been dating every since high school (2002). Why its taken him this long, one may never know. However, the important thing is is that it's done! Woo hoo! I am VERY close with my brother and am so happy for him! Sasha has been a part of our family for a long, long time...now its offical! Here are some pics:
So there ya have it! Her ring is goregous! For those of you who don't know, all the women in my family have heart-shaped diamonds! Its a cute tradition that i LOVE and now the tradition lives on!
As for other news, Jace is moving out on Saturday! Needless to say, my mom is a little sad. I thought when your kids are all grown up and moved out...the fun begins? I call it the Empty Nest Syndrome. You're happy, but sad all at the same time.
Mom- Don't worry, I'm sure Jace will still come back for some free dinners and hang out time, Lord knows I still do :)
As for me, I am STILL subbing. I say "Still" as if I've been subbing for years when, in reality, I've only subbed for a semester. Psh. This economy offically sucks. Oh well, what can ya do? All my apps are out and all I can do is wait!
Today marked the day where I am offically "stalking" subfinder for any jobs that may come up. It sounds pathetic..but I kind of enjoy the thrill of "Will I get called this morning at 5:00AM?" or "Please be an elementary job instead of it saying (in its automatied voice "Columbus (HS Continuation School) has a job available." Ahh. On the other hand, my ringtone for subfinder is "Shiftwork" by Kenny and George, and I LOTHE that sound in the early morning! We'll see what happens this year!
Btw, I've had some interesting questions asked of me these past couple of weeks.
Question 1: So hows married life? Do ya still love the guy?
What the heck kinda question is that? Of COURSE I stilll love "the guy." What, do people want me to say "I hate married life and the husband, eh hes OK. Nope. Not me! With all the divorce out there, I like to believe that love is a VERB. I make a choice every morning to be thankful for my life and to love my husband, family and friends. I don't know how people can say "I fell out of love." How exactly do ya do that? YOU made the decision to fall out of love.
Ok vent over.
Question 2: Are you pregnant yet??
While I understand being married for 2+ years the time for babies is quickly looming, but, people...the whole WORLD would know if i was preggo! Just be patient..I will let you know when it happens!!
