July 1st. Gosh, it already seems like Summer is half over!
Things have been very busy in our house! We went on a cruise for our 1 year anniversary, which was a blast! It was so nice just to get away and relax! I sang at my friend Summer's wedding, which was beautiful!!! Last weekend we went to Havasu with some friends. It was super hot, around 111! Needless to say, I have
a nice tan :) This holiday weekend we are headed to Laughlin! Cha Ching (hopefully haha). It should be tons of fun! I have Kolbey's wedding coming up, which I am excited to stand for her, because, without me they would not be getting married! :) What can I say, I'm a matchmaker! We also have the demolition derby coming up!!!!!!!! In August we are flying to San Fran for the weekend to go camping with my parents in the Redwoods....this is my favorite vacay! I have been going to this park camping ever since I was little!WE ARE SO BUSY!!!!!!!!!! But a fun busy.
Lets see..what else? My bff Val is having a little GIRL!!!!!!! Auntie Jen finally gets a niece! :) Joel and I are so excited for Val and Todd!! They are the first out of our friends to have a baby and we couldn't be more happy! I am excited to do some spoiling :)
I still do not have a teaching job for the fall, however, THANK GOD for this Summer day camp job at my church that I am a teacher at. I have 3rd grade for 4 weeks. I got to set up my room and decorate how I wanted to. It was fun. The kids come on Monday! EEK! Back to the fall..I suppose I will keep subbing and wait for something to open up in Downey!!
