Things have been crazy around here! Lots of new experiences!

Today is my second to last day working for my gramps. It's kinda a bittersweet moment. I am happy to be starting my "Career", but I'm sad to be leaving the place I have been for about 7 years...No more jeans and tee-shirts everyday, free lunch, free car washes, TV, air conditioning, and unlimited Internet. All good things must come to an end..i guess. :-/

I am way stoked about starting student teaching! 3rd grade is going to be so fun! I went to my school, met my master teacher, and got keys to the teachers lounge and classroom -I feel so official! :) I absolutely love my teacher. Its going to be a great 8 weeks.

I officially start on Wednesday (teachers meetings all day) and the kids come on Thursday! I have been brushing up on my cursive handwriting and realized why I never write in cursive... I don't write any of the letters correctly and I have issues with some uppercase letters- its hard!!! Poor kids. haha
Last week Megan and Courtney moved in next door! It is going to be great having them so close and just a walk away!! I also have been helping Chelsey set up her 5th grade room. Her room is adorable! She has some great ideas! I cannot wait to set up my own classroom! All in good time, first I need to get through student teaching!

I think that sums up my life thus far!
I'm headed to San Clemente for the holiday weekend!
