Summer & One Year Anni!!!

Happy Summer!!!!

My summer has already started off with a bang! I planned a family bowling night (brian, leandra, & the boys couldn't make it), but it was so fun!!! Here are some pics:

Joel & I celebrated our one year wedding anniversary in Coronado Island, San Diego. This year went by SOO fast!!!!! Coronado is such a cute little town and we enjoyed our time there!! We stayed at the Glorietta Bay Inn, which looked over the Glorietta bay! We were directly across from the famous Hotel De Coronado. That place was huge! On friday night we headed to Barona to try our luck, unfortunately it was not our night- but we still had fun! Saturday we went to breakfast at this cute little dinner, then laid out by the pool & went paddle boating around the bay! We were sad to come home, but had a fabulous time! Here are some pics!

All and all, it has been a great month so far! Next weekend we are going to Havasu...so expect more pictures soon!!!

Graduation and Summer Time!!!!

Well, lots of things have happened this month and I am soo excited it is summer!!

I graduated from Biola University on Saturday, March 24th, 2008! It was a great

ceremony where Rick Warren was the speaker!

Now I am offically an Alumni!!

Anyway- I am going to see Kenny Chensey tonight @ the Staples center! I am soo excited! Joel & I are going with my parents! LeAnn Rimes is opening! I have only seen Kenny once- so I'm stoked to see him again! My parents threw me a graduation party- it was really fun to celebrate my graduation with family and friends!

Joel got me that snazzy new bike for my graduation!!! It is soo nice & i love bike rides!! :-D

Thats about it for the updates! 12 days until our 1 year wedding anniversary- it came so fast!!! We are SO busy this summer but are looking foward to tons of weekend trips!!!!

In less then a month....

I will be a graduate of Biola University with my B.A. in Liberal studies, Emphasis in Elementary Education, Concentration in Art, and Minor in Biblical studies!

and...............

Joel & I will celebrate our One Year Wedding Anniversary!!!!!! I am soo excited! We booked our little get-a-way and are staying at the Glorietta Bay Inn (http://www.gloriettabayinn.com/) in Coronado Island, San Diego! I have heard raves about Coronado island what a nice place it is!!! The place we are staying is across the street from the beach, over looks the Gloritetta bay, and is close to the marina. It is also across the street from the fatty, $$$, Hotel Del Coronado!

Thats about all the updates for now! I am so excited for graduation and summer!!!

Well, what can I say? My TPA (teacher performance assessment) is done, I graduate in 24 days, the weather has been gorgous...life is beautiful!! =)


Today I will be teaching my last math lesson, and friday is my last day of observing! I'm acutally kind of sad...I have grown so attached to those little first graders!!

In my last post, I talked about our new patio set! Well, we got it up and it looks so inviting!

My nephew, Travis, is having his first birthday in saturday-I cannot believe it! It seemed like last month that he was born! Crazy!

Oh also, here is a pic of of the trailer that we went in with my brother to get! We cannot wait to use it!

Welcome Summer!!!!!

I am lovin' this warm, sunny, weather! Only 36 days till graduation, then the summer starts! We have many mini weekend vacations planned and im so excited!!

This past week, Joel & Matt have been working in my our backyard prepping for a patio slab. They are pouring the slab this saturday! Well, since we will have a slab, we need patio furniture. We found the cutest set at Target..on SALE! Last night, we were on a mad hunt and called atleast 8 Targets to see if they had our set. We finally found it! Here it is! Summer here we come!! :)

The Results Are In.....

I got my cset scores back and...I PASSED!! Hoooray! I am so excited about it! I had my student teaching interview yesterday and it went really good- So I'm good to go!!! It feel so good knowing that I'm done with all my teaching tests!
