Saturday Morning Coffee Dates

Whats up ya'll? Happy Saturday!!

Not sure why I'm in such a good mood this morning, but I've got my coffee/hotchoco and the new people magazine, all while working...life is good!

(edit: While writing this post, my contact split.in.half. in my eye. Yep. I'm at work and am partially blind- Waiting for the hubs to bring me my glasses!)

So whats new???


Diet:
I'm down 3lbs! Woo woo!! I ran 2x this week...and have been making ww friendly dinners! Joel was even down some lbs too! SUCCESS.

I tried 3 pinterest ww dinners and 1 pintreset ww dessert.
I tried Chicken Noodle Casserole (YUM), Bubble Up Enchiladas (YUM YUM), and Skinny Baked Ziti (Eh..)
I can't wait to try some new ones this week!

The cookies were DISGUSTING (Skinny Monkey Cookies). I guess that's what you get for trying to make 1pp cookies..Jake had fun making them with me though! :)

Subbing:
I am so thankful to have received so many jobs in the next few weeks! I'm working 2-3 days for the next month! Praise the Lord!

I am always reminded of Gods faithfulness during the beginning of the school year. I get into a little funk in September being reminded I have YET to have a full time teaching job, but then remember how nice it is to pick and choose the days you work!

The Jakster:

What a SWEET boy I have on my hands! We've had so much fun the past few weeks hanging out knowing that soon I would be going back to work for a few days!

I've been trying to teach him "Jesus Loves Me." He LOVES singing (or maybe he just hears me constantly singing) and hes trying to catch on while I sing.

I've tried a million few time to capture him singing, but he always stops the instant I get my camera out, or he does it..but not AS CUTE as when its spontaneous.

Anyway, here is what I got last night. (He TOTALLY knows hes being recorded too lol)

I think we all know I'm a lot little obsessed with Jason. Love his down home, rugged, country music. I am anxiously anticipating his new cd, which comes out Oct 16! Holler!

I've been following Karmin since she was doing covers on youtube, now she has 2 successful singles! I love her beats and her rapping skills! (yes, I'm going to try and learn her raps and sing them and annoy the hubs muahah)

So call me a little Redneck if you must, but I really like this song. I know...country and rap together?? I was kinda like "Say whatttttt?" But hey, Jason Aldean did it..so don't hate!

I like this song 1. Because I love the catchy chorus and lyrics...things WERE so simple back when we were little, huh? 2. I like him rapping. Who would picture a big, redneckish type guy rapping?

What's up Wednesday

Has the holiday totally messed up anyone's week? What day is it today?!?

I'm way behind!

I'm up early to get myself in the "5am sub finder call the day of" mode and thought my blog has been neglected. So here I am!

On Sunday Joel and I took Jake and the bikes down to the beach! It was a perfect morning for a ride!
